- Edward Schwartz is a Sustainability Consultant, Certified Energy Professional and a co-founder of Green Living Solutions. Green Living Solutions helps residents, small businesses and municipalities by offering services such as energy audits, coordinating green improvements, sustainability analyses, and they work with architects, builders and homeowners to choose and implement sustainable building materials and technologies during construction. As the chair person of the Ridgewood Environmental Advisory Committee, Ed leads the Village’s efforts to adopt more sustainable practices, along with helping businesses and homeowners to save energy, money, and reduce their carbon footprints. Ed also serves as the Coordinator of Sustainable Energy for the North Jersey Chapter of the Sierra Club, and is certified by the Clean Energy Program and the Building Performance Institute. He is also in the process of restoring his own historical pre-revolutionary home using energy saving methods and sustainable practices, and is setting guidelines for Historical Renovations using Sustainable Practices.
